Ch. 148Black Knight

Roland led a small force from Flowing City to reinforce the besieged Star Elves at Singri, believing that powerful fighters mattered more than a large army. Khamûl hunted the wounded Elf King and prepared to destroy Singri, unaware that reinforcements from several allied realms were converging on the city.

  • Roland decided to reinforce Singri with three hundred and fifty elite soldiers and high-end combatants, while Valfay caught up and insisted on joining as a Sixth Tier Huntsman.
  • Khamûl killed Orcs who had failed to track the wounded Elf King and ordered more troops to hunt him down.
  • Khamûl kept twenty thousand Orcs around Singri, while Peter Gro and the remaining Star Elves prepared to resist.
  • Thranduil, Dwarf and Dale forces, soldiers from Aquavia, and Roland's force hurried toward Singri to aid the Star Elves.
  • Roland urged his troops to march faster and hoped Eowyn was still alive.

Ch. 149Death's Rotation

Eowyn led more than three thousand Star Elves through the forest to reclaim Dol Guldur, attacking the Orc-occupied fortress after nightfall. The Elves seized its bridge, but Orc heavy infantry checked their advance until the Star Elf swordsmen struck with returning Moon Blades.

  • Eowyn learned that the Star Elf army was nearing Dol Guldur and ordered the soldiers to halt, scout, and rest before a night attack.
  • Eowyn led the Star Elves forward and ordered their archers to kill the fortress’s outer sentries.
  • The Elf Rangers stormed Dol Guldur’s bridgehead and cut down the surprised Orc defenders.
  • Orc heavy infantry arrived in double-layered plate armor, killing rangers and forcing the Elves to recognize the danger.
  • Star Elf swordsmen launched their Moon Blades with Wheel Dance, slicing through the Orc heavy infantry’s armor.

Ch. 150Deadly Ambush

Eowyn led the Star Elves through Dol Guldur, broke the Orc defense, and captured the Throne Hall. As he examined the damaged throne, Khamûl ambushed him and wounded him, forcing the Elves to retreat from the hall.

  • Eowyn rallied the Star Elves and drove the Orcs through Dol Guldur, then ordered his troops to avoid close combat and advance in organized groups.
  • Eowyn led his forces toward the Throne Hall, leaving squads behind to divide and clear the battlefield.
  • Eowyn used his Space Blade, Lothlórien Bow, and spatial abilities to defeat Orcs defending the Throne Hall.
  • The Elves stormed the hall, and Eowyn entered to inspect the damaged throne while Peter Gro took Rangers to clear remaining resistance.
  • Khamûl emerged behind Eowyn and stabbed him in the abdomen, prompting the wounded king to escape as the Elves retreated from the Throne Hall.

Ch. 151Missing

After Eowyn went missing in Dol Guldur, Peter Gro led the Star Elves’ retreat and used Skye to confront Khamûl, who pursued them. Meanwhile, Roland’s party neared Singri, where Omsk insisted they wait for reinforcements because more Nazgûl might be present.

  • Peter Gro ordered the Star Elves to retreat from Dol Guldur after seeing Khamûl emerge with a bloodstained sword and fearing for Eowyn.
  • Peter Gro searched for Eowyn, then summoned Skye with the Dragon Flute when Khamûl and the Orcs pursued the elves.
  • Peter Gro attacked Khamûl with a starlight arrow, but Khamûl blocked it, and Peter Gro spotted Dragon-slaying Crossbows among the Orcs.
  • Peter Gro led the Star Elves away from the pursuit and sent Moon Elk riders to seek reinforcements from nearby kingdoms.
  • Roland urged Omsk to hurry toward Singri, but Omsk warned him that more Nazgûl might be waiting and insisted they proceed carefully.

Ch. 152The Second Nazgûl

Roland learned that Orcs had surrounded Singri and were draining the Star Dragon’s barrier, with at least two Nazgûl leading the assault. He chose to relieve the siege by striking an Orc force from outside while keeping his army organized for a dangerous battle.

  • Roland rejected entering Singri directly and ordered the Erlino Rangers to scout the area.
  • Khamûl and the second Nazgûl, Lidilias, waited outside Singri as Orcs attacked its barrier.
  • An Erlino Ranger reported that Orcs occupied all seven barrier exits and were exhausting Star Dragon Sky’s power.
  • Roland concluded that multiple Nazgûl were involved and decided to attack an Orc force to relieve pressure on Singri.
  • Omsk arranged the Royal Guards, Erlino Rangers, and Holy Radiance Knight Order into a formation for the assault, keeping Roland protected.

Ch. 153Light-Shadow Fusion, Champion Charge!

Omsk led Lagrange’s Knight Order and the Erlino Rangers in a devastating attack on the Orcs, using Light-Shadow Fusion and Champion Charge to break their formation. When Orc reinforcements and a Black Hero arrived, Roland and Omsk withdrew, leaving the Black Hero intrigued by the human hero.

  • Omsk cloaked his charging Knights in Light-Shadow Fusion, letting them strike the Orc formation while the Orcs could hear but not see them.
  • The Erlino Rangers joined the attack, piercing Orcs and shields with arrows as Omsk led the Knights around the battlefield to cut down fleeing enemies.
  • Roland recognized Omsk’s Champion Charge as a skill of Lagrange’s vanished Champion Knight Order and told the Rangers to keep the Orcs alive long enough to lure in reinforcements.
  • After Valfay’s Eyes of Nature spotted Orc forces approaching from the south and north, Roland’s formation retreated while Omsk moved his Knights toward the battlefield’s edge.
  • Omsk spotted the arriving Black Hero and chose to withdraw rather than risk his Knights against attacks that could strike the soul.
  • The Black Hero watched from his nightmare steed and remarked that removing a nail had unexpectedly brought him a human hero.

Ch. 154Thanar, Breath of Death

Roland’s forces tried to draw the Orcs away while Valfay confronted Sernal, the third Nazgûl known as Breath of Death. Sernal’s life-draining Death Domain overwhelmed Valfay, who fled as Roland’s guards prepared for the approaching threat.

  • Roland learned that a Nazgûl was pursuing the group and ordered Omsk to cover their rear with the Knight Order.
  • Valfay sensed the danger, sent Roland onward, and intercepted Sernal in the forest.
  • Valfay recognized Sernal as Breath of Death, and the two exchanged taunts before Valfay wounded Sernal’s shoulder with Moon Hunt.
  • Sernal unleashed his Death Domain, draining life from the surrounding area and weakening Valfay’s life-based skills.
  • Sernal attacked with Soul Harvest, but Valfay dodged the scythe and escaped into the sky with Wind Dance.

Ch. 155Battle of Heroes

Omsk intervened when Sernal attacked Valfay, then fought the Nazgûl and forced him to retreat. Omsk returned to Roland with a route into Singri open, and Roland recognized Sernal as a notorious threat.

  • Sernal hurled his Soul Scythe at Valfay, but Omsk deflected it and faced him in battle.
  • Omsk used his Light-Shadow powers to suppress Sernal's Death Domain and withstand his attacks.
  • Omsk struck Sernal with Judgment, but Sernal escaped into the sky after taunting him.
  • Omsk drove off the Orcs and returned to Roland, reporting that he had opened a path to Singri.
  • Roland learned that the Nazgûl was Sernal, known as Walking Disaster, Thanar, and Breath of Death, and reacted with shock.

Ch. 156Peerless King Thranduil

Thranduil led two thousand Woodland Realm rangers toward Singri to rescue the besieged Elves and confronted Khamûl and Lidilias. Though badly injured, he held the two Nazgûl back long enough for the rangers to break through the Orc encirclement and enter Singri.

  • Roland abandoned the plan to enter Singri directly and decided to wait for reinforcements outside the city.
  • Thranduil led two thousand Woodland Realm rangers through the forest, cutting down Orc scouts as they hurried toward Singri.
  • Khamûl and Lidilias confronted Thranduil, who ordered the rangers to break through the Orc encirclement while he fought the two Nazgûl.
  • Thranduil sustained severe injuries, including a shattered left arm, but continued fighting to keep Khamûl and Lidilias from reaching the rangers.
  • Thranduil wounded Lidilias with Wind Shadow Chasing Light, was struck down in return, and charged at the two Nazgûl again.

Ch. 157Retreat

Thranduil wounded Khamûl with a fully charged arrow, then escaped into Singri as Lidilias avoided the attack. Roland’s group learned that the Woodland Elves had reached the battle and decided to scout them from a distance while continuing to watch for Sernal and the Nazgûl.

  • Thranduil dodged Lidilias’s Wailing Blood Shield and fired a Nature’s Wrath arrow charged with all his Battle Qi at Khamûl.
  • Khamûl stacked defensive skills but was blasted backward, lost his left arm, and began regenerating while Lidilias remained unharmed in a spatial fissure.
  • Thranduil teleported into Singri, and the Woodland Elves and Star Elves joined forces there as the Nazgûl watched them enter.
  • Roland heard the distant battle and concluded that the Woodland Elves had engaged the Orcs.
  • Valfay urged Roland to help, but Roland warned that Sernal and the Nazgûl could overwhelm the party.
  • Roland agreed to circle around and observe the Woodland Elves from a distance.

Ch. 158Sixth-Tier Melee

Valfay and Omsk confronted the Nazgûl while Roland led the Knight Order toward the Singri secret realm. After Lidilias rescued Khamûl and Sernal arrived, Valfay and Omsk realized they had to retreat into Singri as a sixth-tier battle loomed.

  • Omsk urged Roland to retreat, then charged toward the Orcs to draw their attention while Valfay prepared to face the enemy.
  • Roland led the Knight Order toward the Singri secret realm as Omsk intercepted Khamûl and fought him with light-shadow skills.
  • Valfay joined Omsk's attack on Khamûl, but Lidilias blocked the strike and used Undead Shift to escape with Khamûl.
  • Omsk and Valfay saw Sernal arrive and abandoned their plan to wear down the Orcs outside Singri.
  • Omsk called for them to fight while retreating, and Valfay agreed that they would enter Singri.

Ch. 159Starlight Shines

Omsk and Valfay fought the three Nazgûl, with Valfay using Flame Teleport to evade their attacks and escape to the barrier entrance. As the group regrouped beside Roland, a silver tear opened in space and a voice from hell addressed them.

  • Khamûl, Sernal, and Lidilias attacked Omsk and Valfay, while Valfay dodged Khamûl’s Evil Spirit Fall and Omsk protected them with Song of Radiance.
  • Sernal struck at Omsk, who repelled his Soul Scythe with Spirit Shock Flash, while Valfay’s Cloud Piercer staggered Khamûl.
  • Khamûl and Lidilias pursued Valfay, but he used Flame Teleport to escape by leaping between flames and a fire-coated arrow.
  • Sernal realized Valfay’s teleport depended on fire and helped the others extinguish the flames, but Valfay fired an arrow and teleported to its landing point.
  • Valfay escaped to the barrier entrance and called Omsk over, leaving the Nazgûl unable to stop Omsk from breaking away.
  • A silver slit tore open in space beside Roland’s group, and an unfamiliar voice spoke from within it.

Ch. 160Starry Splendor

Eowyn returned alive and joined the battle against the three Nazgûl, while Roland sent word that the decisive battle had begun. Eowyn countered Sernal with his spatial powers but struggled to break through the Black Knight’s defenses as the other fighters engaged.

  • Eowyn rejoined Roland, Valfay, and Omsk, apologized for the trouble he had caused, and urged them to fight the Nazgûl.
  • Eowyn ordered Roland to send people into Singri and announce that the decisive battle had begun.
  • Eowyn attacked Sernal, Omsk clashed with Khamûl, and Valfay drew Lidilias into combat.
  • Eowyn overwhelmed Sernal with spatial attacks and a meteor shower, but Sernal survived with invincibility and defensive skills.
  • Sernal called on Khamûl and Lidilias to defeat their opponents quickly before Eowyn wore down his defenses.

Ch. 161Assassination

Thranduil, Peter Gro, and Eowyn joined Roland’s forces against the Nazgûl, turning the battle in the allies’ favor. After Sernal used Undead Rebirth to empower the Nazgûl, they launched a coordinated assassination strike against Thranduil, and Eowyn moved to intervene.

  • Thranduil and Peter Gro arrived to aid Roland, while Valfay joined them against the three Nazgûl.
  • Peter Gro and the allied warriors attacked the Nazgûl with powerful ranged skills, and Lidilias was badly struck by a meteor.
  • Lidilias, Khamûl, and Sernal strengthened themselves with soul and undead abilities, and Sernal’s Undead Rebirth alarmed Thranduil and the others.
  • The three Nazgûl broke through their pursuers and charged at Thranduil, but Eowyn turned an icy gaze toward them.

Ch. 162Defeat

The allied army drove the three Nazgûl into retreat, but Sernal wounded Eowyn as they escaped. After Eowyn was treated, he proposed waiting for Erebor's reinforcements and clearing out the fleeing Orcs.

  • Eowyn used Starlight Chain to pull Thranduil out of the Nazgûl's combined attack, and Thranduil strengthened the allies with Shared Fate and Hunter's Intuition.
  • Omsk, Eowyn, and Valfay focused their attacks on Khamûl while Peter Gro's Starfall corroded the Nazgûl's Battle Qi.
  • The Nazgûl decided to retreat; Sernal escaped Thranduil's grasp and skewered Eowyn with his hooked scythe as Khamûl and Lidilias fled.
  • Eowyn survived the wound, and a White Gemstone absorbed the soul damage before Roland's Holy Arts helped treat him.
  • Eowyn told Thranduil to wait for Erebor's reinforcements and clear out the scattered Orcs.

Ch. 163Sweep

Roland, Eowyn, and Thranduil cleared Orcs near Singri while awaiting reinforcements, then welcomed the arriving armies and prepared to counterattack Dol Guldur. Roland also reaffirmed his promise to Balin to lead an expedition to the mines of Moria that summer.

  • Roland, Eowyn, and Thranduil assessed their depleted forces and agreed to clear nearby Orcs before attacking Dol Guldur.
  • Roland's allied army attacked Orcs stationed outside the barrier, and the Royal Guard finished off the wounded.
  • Eowyn reassured Roland that low-tier soldiers mattered in full-scale wars and encouraged him to improve himself.
  • Balin arrived with a thousand heavily armored Dwarven Warriors, while Bai Yi and Bard brought additional reinforcements.
  • Roland promised Balin that Lagrange's warriors would join an expedition to the mines of Moria that summer.

Ch. 164Hidden Danger

Roland and the Allied army advanced toward Dol Guldur while Orcs harassed them, and Roland’s allies questioned whether their forces could safely capture the fortress. The chapter left the army facing the prospect of a costly siege that might fracture the alliance if the elves demanded too many sacrifices.

  • Roland warned the Allied army to watch for Orcs hiding in the canopy, allowing the soldiers and elves to spot and defeat the ambushers.
  • Omsk warned Roland that three Nazgûl, including Breath of Death, could avoid the strongest fighters and slaughter the lower-tier soldiers at Dol Guldur.
  • Roland agreed to keep the Lagrange soldiers close and hold their ground if the battle turned dangerous, and he urged Omsk to warn the elves.
  • Valfay asked Roland whether Dol Guldur was a trap, and Roland said the elves understood the danger but refused to admit it.
  • Bard and Bai Yi told Valfay that the humans and dwarves would not accept enormous casualties to reclaim an elven city, while Roland hoped the assault would be easier than feared.

Ch. 165Dol Guldur

The allied army reached Dol Guldur, where Thranduil and Eowyn wanted to avenge their people, but Roland urged them to advance cautiously against the Nazgûl’s prepared defenses. Omsk ordered the forces to attack in formation, and the chapter left them facing the fortress.

  • Eowyn killed an Orc ambusher as the allied army reached the overgrown fortress, which Valfay and Thranduil recognized as their destination and former home.
  • Dwarves formed a Shield Wall against hidden Orc archers, and the allied Rangers and archers killed the attackers with volleys.
  • Roland ordered the scattered army to assemble, and Omsk organized its units into a battle formation before Dol Guldur.
  • Thranduil urged an immediate assault after noticing the empty outer walls, but Roland warned that the forces inside could be hiding traps and that three Nazgûl remained.
  • Balin, Bard, and Bai Yi supported Roland’s call for caution, and Eowyn and Thranduil agreed to proceed carefully.
  • Omsk raised his lance and ordered the allied army to attack Dol Guldur.

Ch. 166Tug-of-War

Roland’s allied forces attacked Dol Guldur, but the Royal Guards’ advance across the bridge stalled under giant crossbow fire and troll corpses. Roland realized the Nazgûl were protecting the crossbow towers and ordered the assault to continue.

  • Thranduil and the elves laid down covering fire as Roland sent the Royal Guards across the bridge in a Shield Wall formation.
  • The Orc leader ordered the bridge destroyed, while Valfay and Eowyn urged the allies to suppress the defenders and hurry across.
  • Dol Guldur’s giant crossbows struck the Guards and halted their advance, despite Valfay setting one crossbow tower’s roof ablaze.
  • Iron-armored trolls charged the Shield Wall, but the Guards killed them and the elves’ arrows left their bodies blocking the bridge.
  • The Royal Guards pushed one troll corpse off the bridge but faced seven more as crossbow fire continued to pin them down.
  • Roland realized the Nazgûl were shielding the crossbow towers and joined the archers in firing at the Orcs.

Ch. 167Entering the City

Roland watched the Royal Guard struggle across the bridge under fire from Dol Guldur, then ordered the Holy Radiance Knight Order to charge. He used a war spell to cover the bridge with vines, and Omsk reached the far side as the assault on the city began.

  • The Royal Guard slowly cleared troll corpses and advanced across the bridge while massive crossbow bolts battered their Shield Wall.
  • Roland learned why the nobles and sixth-tier fighters had not led the advance, but grew alarmed as the Royal Guard neared the bridge's edge.
  • Roland ordered the Holy Radiance Knight Order to charge, despite Eowyn, Thranduil, and Bard warning that the narrow bridge would cost lives.
  • Roland cast Python Coiling Vine Entanglement, spreading thick vines across the bridge and creating a path past the Royal Guard.
  • Omsk led the Knight Order across the vine-covered bridge, blocked the crossbow bolts, and became the first to reach the far side before Dol Guldur.
