Schiller had originally planned to spend half an hour eating breakfast, then have Gray Mist deal with his hangover headache and the stiff neck caused by sleeping in the wrong position the night before.
More importantly, he had planned to rest for the day and recover his energy. Psychotherapy was exhausting too, but when Jarvis called, Schiller had no time to rest. He drove to Stark Tower.
The moment he arrived at Stark's laboratory, he smelled a familiar scent of alcohol. Schiller stood at the door and coughed twice. Jarvis emitted a series of beeps, then said, "My apologies, sir. I forgot to turn on the air purifier beforehand. Please wait a moment..."
Standing outside, Schiller heard the laboratory's fans begin to hum. After a while, when he went inside again, only the scent of air freshener remained.
Entirely unsurprisingly, Stark was sprawled over the lab bench like a drunkard, surrounded by empty beer bottles and muttering to himself.
Schiller listened carefully for a while but could not understand a word he was saying. So, he reached out and gave Stark a push. Stark looked at him with vacant eyes, as though he did not recognize him, waved a hand at him, and slumped back onto the table.
The sound of mechanical parts grinding came from behind him. Schiller turned and saw Jarvis operating a robotic body. He glanced back at the completely unconscious Stark, then decisively went out to find Jarvis.
Jarvis led Schiller to the room next door. He first poured him a cup of coffee, then pointed to a massage chair nearby and said, "Sir, if your neck and shoulders are uncomfortable, you may use the massage chair. This is Stark Industries' newest therapeutic massage chair. It should help you feel better."
