Eddie's eyes widened. Then he gritted his teeth and said, "Venom! What are you doing?! That belongs to Doctor Schiller. You can't just mess with his things. Have some basic decency..."
"I'm not human!" Venom chuckled. "Besides, he'll just think you took it anyway..."
"Seriously, you know what that is?" Eddie asked suspiciously. When he had taken out the wrapper earlier, Venom's emotions had shifted slightly. He had clearly recognized it.
"I don't know!" Venom immediately denied it, then whistled twice inside Eddie's head. Eddie knew he was hiding something, but he could not be bothered to argue with him.
