"You really were here? When you called me, your voice was so hoarse I thought you'd just woken up. I made a trip to Wayne Manor, only for Alfred to tell me you were at the company."
After saying that, Barry took two steps back and looked Thomas up and down. "How many days has it been since you slept? Why does none of you sleep? Is the air in this universe full of caffeine? Then why am I still tired every day?"
Thomas waved a hand, while pressing the bridge of his nose with the other. "I called you here for something important. Didn't you say you were looking for a way to leave this universe? Did you find one?"
"I guess I did." Barry said hesitantly. "I think Professor Schiller should have a way, but he hasn't told me yet. Are you in a hurry to leave?"
"No. What I wanted to tell you was that if you find a way, leave on your own first. I'm staying here for a while."
"Why?" Barry asked in surprise. He did not think Thomas was attached to this world's comfort. Every Batman had his own Gotham. No matter how terrible their own world was, they would never abandon it.
