Much of the data in Tony Stark's laboratory was incomprehensible to ordinary people.
The leaps in a genius scientist's thinking meant that when he recorded certain key data, he did not strictly follow standard data-recording conventions. As a result, it seemed disjointed, and even ordinary scientists could easily fail to understand it.
This phenomenon, somewhat akin to a knowledge barrier, was one-sided. Stark could understand nearly all the experimental data produced by other scientists in his field, so he felt that reading another version of his own experimental data should not be difficult.
Instead, Stark saw a string of data that left him somewhat bewildered. Or rather, it did not seem like data at all, but more like philosophical and mystical deductions. There were few numbers, letters, or symbols, but many incoherent English annotations.
The grammar in those sentences was fragmented as well, like they had been written by a drunk person. Their keywords also carried a distinctly mystical flavor—words such as origin, foundation, Destiny, and the like.
Stark suspected that this universe's Iron Man had gotten drunk and randomly typed them out, so he said to Jarvis, "Pull up the previous entry."
Yet after flipping through several earlier entries, he found more of the same. Only after going back to data from much further in the past could Stark barely make sense of it.
Frowning, Stark narrowed his eyes at that experimental record. He knew it contained data on material properties, and he murmured, "Testing new materials, so the suit..."
"Jarvis, put the latest model suit on the display rack," Stark said immediately. He believed that by examining the suit, he could determine just how advanced this universe's Iron Man technology had become.
"Certainly, sir. You may proceed to Calibration Zone Three."
Stark took a notebook and a pen
