In a ward at Arkham Asylum, Schiller was making his rounds when a nurse came in and said, "Doctor Schiller, Mr. Strange's appointment time is coming up. Would you like to go meet him?"

"Okay, I'll go right away. Sorry, sir, I'll be leaving first."

Schiller nodded to the two people in the ward, then left and headed to the second floor of the main building. Strange was already waiting in the reception area beneath the high glass ceiling, having clearly arrived through a portal.

Schiller walked over and handed his notes to the nurse. After she left, he sat down on the sofa across from Strange and asked, "What is it? You called to make an appointment so late last night. Is something urgent?"

Strange frowned, rubbing between his brows with a finger. "It's nothing major. I just don't quite understand why you had Loki incite Thanos to deal with his counterpart from another universe and seize that other Thanos's resources."

Strange sighed softly and shifted positions. "To be honest, I'm not afraid of the Infinity Stones, nor am I afraid of our universe's Thanos obtaining the Infinity Gauntlet. After all, we've drawn the Vishanti into this, and your relationship with Eternity means Thanos in our universe will never get the chance to snap his fingers."

"But territory, subordinates, and resources are the truly dangerous things. If he really can bring that universe's Dark Dimension back, he'll definitely become a massive threat to human civilization in the future—perhaps immediately."

"Of course, Schiller, I know you may have further plans, but I still think this step is too risky. Thanos is only a temporary ally, and his potential is limitless. Once his foundation is secure, we'll be in trouble."

Schiller tilted his head back slightly to indicate that he understood.
