Before entering any room, Riley would use his Spider-Sense to determine whether it was safe. But after several attempts, everyone realized that this method was not particularly useful either.
"My Spider-Sense keeps going off. No matter which room you want to enter, it just keeps ringing!" Riley frowned, looking pained. He shook his head and said, "There's no safe place here at all!"
"Then does the intensity of the Spider-Sense vary?" Jarvis was more inclined to look for variables.
"I can't hear it clearly." Riley clutched his head. "I can barely even hear you talking anymore. There must be something, there must be something constantly threatening it... Where is it? Where is it?"
By the end, Riley's words had turned into pained groans. Shang-Chi hurried over to support him and said, "You should try to shut out your heightened senses."

"Riley, my vital-sign analysis equipment indicates that your heartbeat and blood flow are abnormal. I also believe you should stop using your Spider-Sense."
"I can't stop!" Riley gritted his teeth. "It's instinctive, like how you need food and water. I can't block it out!"
