At the front of the empty tiered classroom, a bespectacled man set down his coffee cup and made a gesture with one hand. The room fell silent.
"All right, after these classes, you should understand that these gooey little fellows aren't the disgusting slime you imagined them to be. They're mainly made up of Symbiote factors."
"You can think of them as a kind of dough ball. All right, I admit that still sounds a little disgusting—like a lump of mud."
"You're the lump of mud! Apologize!!!"
Seeing their teacher freeze, the students began snickering again. They knew the lump of mud belonging to their teacher must be complaining in his head again.
