The trainee agents clustered around him with regretful looks. A blonde, baby-faced girl propped her elbow on the lectern and rested her chin in her hand. "Doctor, are you really going to abandon us for Stark? Don't give those tabloid rags a chance to get what they want."
"Go on, Catherine. You can take the tin of frosted cookies I put beneath the lectern, as long as you're not afraid of spending the entire weekend at the dentist's office." Schiller smiled.
Catherine puffed out her cheeks indignantly. "Don't think you can bribe me. Omar said you told him you'd bring him Captain America's shield cookies next week. I'm insanely jealous. Those are limited edition."
"Then you should ask the rich guy next to you. No one knows Captain America better than he does." Schiller shrugged.
"Yeah, right." Catherine curled her lip disdainfully. Just then, a short brown-haired girl with freckles squeezed through the crowd and said with a grin, "You should go, Catherine. I want to know whether the Captain actually spent the night at his place."
"Maloney, could you stop acting like a tabloid reporter?" Catherine said unhappily. "I'm not some drone for you to scout out enemy intel."
"Hey! Hey, girls, do you have something to say about Captain America spending the night at my house?" Stark clapped his hands and wagged a finger in the air. "His taste in clothes is prehistoric, can you imagine it? A dark brown plaid sweater, and it was a turtleneck."
The petite girl called Maloney
