The next morning, Bruce and his luggage were thrown out of Wayne Manor together—by Thomas personally. Even Alfred couldn't stop him. Fortunately, Thomas wasn't completely heartless. After getting into the car, he rolled down the window, looked at Bruce standing by the roadside, and said,
"Your mother still has an old house on Breeze Street. It was where she prepared for marriage before the wedding. Don't come back until Aisha starts elementary school! Spend 1.5 billion dollars within a month... My heart hurts whenever I see you!"
Then the window rolled back up, and the car vanished down the street in a flash. Bruce was still dwelling on Thomas's final words, muttering like an idiot, "Spend 1.5 billion dollars within a month..."
Bruce glanced at the bag of luggage beside him, a disgusted expression appearing on his face. He simply walked away, crossed the road, hailed a taxi, and headed for the Batcave again.
When the taxi reached its destination, Bruce looked at the desolate surroundings, his expression gradually turning cold. He stared intently at the rearview mirror, but after a while, as though recalling something, he still took out the last of his cash and paid the fare.
