Bandage Killer successfully used a string of complicated words to leave Jimmy, who had barely gone to school, looking utterly bewildered. Still, he looked at Bandage Killer and said, "Sounds like your teacher has quite a temper."

Bandage Killer did not answer him again. Instead, he sat down on the spot, leaning against the stone pedestal beneath the electric fence, and turned to look at the gangs gathered together.

The entire prison was roughly divided into four factions. The organ traffickers and drug dealers Jimmy had mentioned were actually part of the Mexico gang, or rather, the Border Gang. Most of its criminals were Latino, and most had engaged in all kinds of illegal activity along the border. They had only been sent here after committing exceptionally heinous murders or executing law enforcement officers.

Another group of prisoners gathered together were typical white supremacists—the new NAZIs. Most had been imprisoned for terrorism or bombings, and they glared furiously at another group across the diagonal. That was the Black Gang, whose members had mostly been charged with terrorism, vicious robberies, or massacres.

There was another group that was rather strange. They looked like a gang, but they kept their distance from one another. They had no tattoos and did not look particularly strong, yet when Jimmy's gaze fell on them, it immediately slid away. Bandage Killer noticed this and asked, "Who are they?"

"Them? They're among the earliest inmates in this prison." Jimmy lowered his voice and moved closer, sitting beside Bandage Killer. "Most of them are serial killers, but for some reason, they seem to know one another and have formed a loose organization."
