After DC Comics' Main Universe entered the New 52 era, many Robins' origin stories were rewritten. For instance, the history of Nightwing having formed the Teen Titans was erased. He debuted as Nightwing, with a backstory of having been adopted and trained by Wayne from childhood, but there was no detailed account of how he became an independent hero or how he returned.

Red Hood was the same. When he appeared in the New 52 Main Universe, he was already Red Hood. Barbara's history as Oracle had not been erased, but her paralysis had been changed into her successfully standing again after surgery. Orphan and Spoiler, the two former Batgirls, had both returned to their independent identities and were no longer so closely connected to Batman.

But no matter how the backstories changed, the Bat-family's dreadful educational background in the Main Universe remained as consistent as ever. Nightwing at least attended Hudson University in his solo title. Although he was expelled after only a few issues, in the New 52, that level of education was practically prenatal education. The others were even less worth mentioning, with only Barbara doing somewhat better.

The most accomplished member of the Bat-family was Batwing, Luke Fox. He was the son of Wayne Enterprises' CEO, likewise a product of elite education, with dual degrees in business and engineering from MIT.

Looking at the Robins' backgrounds, this was understandable. If you spent the first dozen or so years of your life busy dying, coming back to life, dying again, and coming back again, you really would not have much time to study.
