Outside New Arkham Asylum, Red Robin grabbed Bruce by the arm and said, "Batman, what are you going to Arkham for so late at night? Did another lunatic escape?"
Red Hood, meanwhile, boredly kicked at the pebbles beside the wall. "There's no point asking him. He'll just tell you it's part of the plan... Hey, Batman! Don't expect me to trail after you like some lackey waiting for orders. I'm leaving!"
After saying that, Red Hood turned and started walking along the wall toward the exit. Red Robin hurried after him to pull him back, and the two heard Bruce say from behind them, "I came to get the letter my teacher left for me before he departed. If you really don't want to come, I'll call Jack and have him turn around to take you back to Wayne Manor."
The two of them instantly snapped to attention behind Bruce, and Red Robin shook his head like a rattle drum. "No need for that!"
Bruce pushed open the gates of New Arkham Asylum. The two Robins followed behind him, muttering to each other. Red Robin lowered his voice and said, "See? I told you this Batman isn't normal."
"The Joker's the one who isn't normal! Every second in that car, I was trying to guess where the bomb detonator was. Damian actually managed to sleep?!"
"You should say he actually let Batman hold him." Red Robin grinned and quickened his pace, bringing his head together with Red Hood's. They both looked at Damian in Bruce's arms.
Damian had both arms around Bruce's neck, his body pressed tightly against Bruce's chest, his chin resting on Bruce's shoulder. Seeing the disapproving looks cast at him by the two Robins behind them, he bared his teeth in a viciously smug grin.
