The instant the black and yellow figure appeared in the doorway, Red Hood and Red Robin made the exact same move as if they had been copy-pasted: with a whoosh, they darted to the wall farthest from the door, pressed tightly against it with weapons in hand, and assumed defensive stances.
Deathstroke, who had just pushed open the door, was also stunned. He looked at the two distinctively dressed youths before him—people no one could forget after seeing once—and searched his memories for whether he had dealt with them on some job. Then he realized he had probably never met either of them.
So he turned to Harley, who was tidying things beside the operating table. Harley blinked, pointed left at Red Hood and Red Robin with her right hand, and said, "Those two are the targets. Just bring them back to Wayne Manor alive."
Deathstroke nodded. The moment he took a step forward, the two youths opposite him shrieked like startled animals. Though his face was covered by a mask and his expression could not be seen, his posture still conveyed his helplessness.
"I hate babysitting."
The low voice came from behind the mask. After freezing for a moment, Red Hood rolled left while Red Robin dodged right. With a swish, a black shadow lunged forward, and a short staff struck the spot where they had just been standing.
"You've encountered me before?"
Deathstroke immediately judged that they must have experience dealing with him. Otherwise, they could not have timed his attack so precisely and reacted in time to evade it. Only then did Harley say, "They're from another universe. Maybe they met you there."
"You didn't mention that when you called me here."
"Because it doesn't matter. This is completely within your capabilities."
"You're right. I'll let it
