The atmosphere in Oblivion Bar was exceptionally heavy. The remaining few sat around the bar. Night Master Jim wiped the Night Blade in his hand and sighed. "The situation is very bad. I just called more than a dozen Archmages. Not many picked up. I hope they're only hiding."

"They should've known demons couldn't be trusted!" Deadman Boston lowered his eyes. "No one can blame them for making deals to gain power, but relying too heavily on that power is what got them here."

"I don't know whether the demons suddenly withdrawing their power has anything to do with the vampires making a move. If it does, we're in serious trouble." Bennett held his glass, looking thoroughly dejected. Clearly, he still believed he had dragged Constantine into this.

"That madwoman Mary definitely offered Constantine to Cain. Cain will drain him dry. No vampire can resist the temptation of pure blood."

"We need to go to Plymouth." Red Robin, seated farthest away, finally spoke. "They have a base there. We need to find out what Crimson Queen Mary and Cain, the Blood Clan Progenitor, are really planning."

"I'm sorry, kid, but I can't leave London right now." Jim frowned. "I need to check on the magical families' stronghold first, then find help at the mage towers of the Archmages I know. We can't let the demons break their word. We have to unite and negotiate with them."

"Also, Zatanna is in poor mental condition. My apprentice Andrea gave her some calming potions, but she still needs someone to care for and protect her. We can't lose another friend."

Red Robin said nothing. He merely nodded, stood, and said, "I'll return to Oblivion Bookstore first. I'll ask my friends for help and see whether I can find anything useful John left behind."
