The late-autumn winds in New York had already turned biting as they swept through the streets. Pedestrians hurried along, wrapping their scarves tighter and gulping down the last of their hot coffee to fuel their final push toward wherever they were headed.

When the door to Schiller's office was pushed open, the chill had not yet left Eddie's body. He held two cups of hot coffee, one of which was already half empty.

"Schiller, hurry up and look at the new proposal draft I wrote last night. I think it definitely fits what you wanted... Schiller? Schiller? That's strange. Where is he?"

Eddie looked around the empty office and, with no other choice, stopped a nurse outside the door. But the nurse shook her head as well, indicating that she had no idea where Schiller had gone.

Eddie had no choice but to take out his phone and call Nick. "Director Fury, did Schiller say he was going on vacation? I couldn't find him in his office."

"What? He didn't report it? Then maybe he had something else to do... Forget it. I'll come find him tonight."

Not long after Eddie left, Stark flew in through the window in a suit of armor, shouting as he flew, "Schiller, no, we need to talk. You really can't keep this up. I'm going insane!"

Stark froze at the sight of the empty office. He flew back out the window and circled Arkham Asylum once, but the scanning system showed that Schiller was not there.

So Stark had no choice but to fly to the small clinic in Hell's Kitchen. The moment he pushed open the door and walked in, he saw a figure standing behind the refrigerator door, apparently taking something out.

"Schiller, you... Peter? Why are you here?"
