"Chief, we found the bullet. Do you want to go in and take a look?"

A burly Black officer came out carrying a transparent evidence bag. George took it from his hand and headed into the room where the crime had occurred.

As he crossed the police tape, George gave the Agent beside him a look. The trainee officer quickly grabbed an extra pair of gloves and shoe covers, so Jameson followed George into the crime scene as well.

The primary crime scene was Hooch's bedroom. Now, there were only red strings tracing the direction of the blood spatter, with no body left behind, so there was nothing particularly disturbing to the senses.

"It has been confirmed as the primary crime scene. The victim was shot with a handgun. The bullet struck the temple and killed him instantly, so there were no signs of a struggle," a female officer stepped forward and said.

"Was the victim killed in his sleep?"

"No." The female officer shook her head. "He was sitting here at the time, likely working late into the night. The killer appeared behind him, and the instant he turned his head, the bullet struck the side of his skull with precision."

George lowered his gaze to the bullet in the transparent evidence bag. He frowned slightly, a flash of confusion passing through his eyes. Staring at the bullet, he said quietly, "Magnum? Wear marks... The killer used a revolver?"

Jameson lowered his voice beside him. "I've never seen Spider-Man use a gun. Could he be some kind of vintage firearm enthusiast?"
