The pounding on the door echoed endlessly through the corridors of Schiller's Mind Palace. At last, an impatient Pride opened the door, and a figure in a white coat slipped through the narrow crack with a whoosh.

"Help... help..." Greed panted as he leaned against the door. Still shouting, he grabbed the handle, pulled the door open, and stuck his head out to look down the corridor.

Pride watched him speechlessly. Only after Greed confirmed there were no pursuers behind him did he let out a long breath, cover his face, and squat beside the door. "Guess what? The Sorcerer Supreme, Iron Man, and Professor X are all gathered in my room in the Mind Palace, holding a consultation for me!"

Pride frowned slightly, folded his arms, and looked at Greed. "Couldn't you have thrown them out?"

"Guess who's presiding over this consultation?" Greed said on the verge of collapse. "It's Illness! How am I supposed to throw Illness out too?"

As Pride walked back into his room, he said, "You brought this on yourself. Who told you to threaten that little guy when you went looking for the system? Illness has always been very proud of our own combat ability when we were young."

Greed dropped onto the sofa in Pride's room, looking utterly lifeless. "Well, that's it. Illness is definitely going to tell everyone that my greed has nothing to do with autism—it's purely a personal hobby. Now they'll have even less psychological burden when they put me through withdrawal."

Pride snorted, but he still sat down behind the desk. As he wrote a letter, he said, "So what are you going to do? Last time you went through withdrawal, I said we could switch shifts, but you refused."
