The Nine Realms, the Skrull Empire, and the Shi'ar Empire each occupied one capital ship, while the remaining one had been assigned to the coalition forces of civilizations from this universe.

Mystique had made this arrangement mainly because if so many people were crammed into a single base, old grudges and fresh enmities would inevitably spark. To say nothing else, Odin had beaten up more than eighty percent of the civilizations in the interstellar coalition. Putting them all together for discussions? Magneto, seated at the far end of the table, immediately frowned. He had not said a word throughout the meeting, but now he gave a soft cough.

Stark's expression eased slightly. After all, he knew Professor X's character. The combined moral bottom line of every superhero in New York might not measure up to Professor X's. Without him, ordinary people and Mutants would have gone to war long ago.
