Peter, standing nearby, looked as though he had been relieved of a burden. Earlier, he had failed to restrain his urge to hit Reed. Thinking back on it now, hitting people was wrong after all. When Schiller had appeared at the door just now, Peter had tensed up, afraid the Doctor would discover that he had resorted to violence.
