Gray Mist suddenly let out a scream.

Schiller was startled. He asked in his mind, "What is it?"

"The cafeteria closed!" Gray Mist replied. He gurgled for a while, apparently searching for something within the Mind Palace. After a moment, an even more shocked voice came through. "I have no food to eat!!"

"What do you mean?" Schiller asked.

Gray Mist fell silent again, as though communicating with the other Schillers in the Mind Palace. After quite some time, he said in a shocked, despairing voice, "No one's feeding me anymore!"

"Greed isn't providing food anymore?!!" The intense shock in Gray Mist's tone nearly infected Schiller. Schiller sent over a questioning emotion, and Gray Mist went silent for a long while again, seemingly unsure how to explain.

After a while, Gray Mist's consciousness finally became clear again—clearer than ever before—as though he had focused all his attention on Schiller.

"Greed said I'm grown up now and need to learn to hunt for myself. The High Tower cafeteria won't provide meals anymore."

Feeling the emotions Gray Mist sent over, Schiller froze for a moment before asking in slight surprise, "You don't expect me to feed you, do you?"

"Aren't you Schiller too?" Gray Mist countered. He sounded perfectly justified as he said, "And you need me more than the other Schillers do. The work I've done for you in half a day is more than what I did for the other Schillers in half a year."

Schiller was left speechless. What made him even more silent was the profound melancholy coming from Gray Mist—mainly because Gray Mist seemed to have fully realized that Sloth Schiller was utterly useless to rely on.

"You've never looked for food yourself before?" Schiller asked tentatively.

Gray Mist sent back a negative emotion. Schiller thought
