"Dean Schiller is deciding tonight's menu, and it definitely includes you. Why don't you tell me first? I'll tell him, so he won't have to make another trip over here." Spider-Gwen looked at Natasha as she spoke.
Out of that whole sentence, Natasha had basically only heard "I'll tell him." When she wasn't on a mission, the female agent was not someone who liked beating around the bush, so she put One Hand on Spider-Gwen's shoulder and looked at her profile. "Listen, Gwen, you need to stay away from Schiller. He's very dangerous, especially dangerous right now. Stay as far away from him as you can, all right?"
"Oh my God, Natasha." Spider-Gwen turned to stare at Natasha in disbelief. "Don't tell me the famous Black Widow fell for him too. Do you know you sound like some bitter ex-wife?"
"I am a bitter ex-wife right now." Natasha covered her face with both hands, then swept the red hair from her forehead back and said.
Unlike those classic white girls, Spider-Gwen was quite smart. She raised an eyebrow and said, "Usually, when a woman tells me to stay away from another man in that tone, it means she feels threatened. Do I make you feel threatened, Natasha?"
"Schiller has always been the one threatening me." Natasha wrinkled her nose and looked at Spider-Gwen. "I have to stop him from stewing that stupid fish and you, little lamb, into one dish."
"I have no idea what you mean." Spider-Gwen stood up, frowning at Natasha. "If you think there's something going on between Schiller and me, you're definitely overthinking it. We aren't that close. I only try to act cheerful and friendly because I hope he'll give me more time off. If you've gone to college, you know how well that works."
