Before the gates of the Death Realm, Death Goddess's palace, Iron God and Sorcerer Supreme stood on either side of the entrance like two guardian statues. She was not angry over Schiller's overt and covert mockery or his snide insinuations. After all, which of the Five Deities had not been mocked by Schiller? Death had been tricked by him more times than anyone, and this time he had merely called to taunt her a little. Under normal circumstances, Death would practically think Schiller had turned over a new leaf.
