As Spider-Man reached that point, he caught Batman's death glare. He immediately pinched his index fingers and thumbs together over his mouth and slid them across in a zipping motion, indicating that he would stop talking.

Batman swept his cape aside and leaped down from the high-rise. Spider-Man followed close behind. Even though Batman had already used his fastest speed, Spider-Man still kept up effortlessly. Batman led him all the way to the Batcave.

Just as Batman was opening the door, he heard a string of exclamations behind him. Spider-Man was like a frog with a switch flipped inside him, a succession of "wows" popping out above his head.

"This is way too cool! What is this? Some kind of mysterious dark-core design? This door is incredible! Is that keypad facial recognition? And this handle—you carved bat patterns onto it. That is just perfect."
