In an alley beside the café, Constantine took a sip of hot coffee and slowly explained, "I don't know if those Angels got kicked in the head by a donkey, but they changed runes that hadn't been altered for thousands of years after I'd only been using them for a few years. I've completely lost contact with Heaven now, and I still have two debts waiting to be repaid with Heaven's power. How could I not be anxious?"
"Who told you to owe so much in the first place... Fine, forget that. What's the point of coming to Gotham? There aren't any Angels here."
Constantine opened his mouth, seeming unsure whether he should say it. But faced with the questioning stares of the two Robins, he still sighed and said, "You can't stay children forever, can you? Red Hood and Nightwing exchanged a glance, each seeing the expected answer in the other's eyes. But Red Hood still cleared his throat, tapped the ground with his toe, and said, "Then tell us what exactly happened to Gotham, and why you came here."
