Schiller ran into Little Bruce on his way back to the Dean's office after dinner.
Since it was nearly lights-out, Little Bruce's followers had all returned to their own houses instead of trailing after him. He was heading back to the dormitory alone when he turned a corner and ran into Schiller, who was on his way back to his office.
"Ah!" Little Bruce jumped and cried out. Schiller raised an eyebrow slightly, looked him over, and asked, "Mr. Wayne, why aren't you back in bed at this hour? What are you doing running around the corridors?"
"I wasn't running around." Little Bruce reflexively retorted. He looked up at Schiller and complained, "Besides, it's only eight o'clock. Only three-year-olds go to bed at eight."
"Well, it seems you aren't sleepy. Since you have so much time, why don't you tell me how you got here?"
"I just wanted to look around the school, I..."
"I mean, how did you get to this universe?" Schiller asked, looking into Little Bruce's eyes. "You're Bruce Wayne, just a Bruce Wayne from another universe, aren't you?"
Little Bruce's eyes widened at once. He opened his mouth as though he wanted to deny it, but finally said irritably, "Yes, I'm Bruce Wayne. Those idiots thought I was an illegitimate child. They're unbelievably stupid."
"Then how did you get here?"
"I..." Little Bruce paused, then suddenly looked like someone had stepped on his tail. He glared up at Schiller and demanded shrilly, "Why should I tell you? What does it have to do with you?!"
"I'm simply concerned about you as the dean of this academy," Schiller said unhurriedly. He looked Little Bruce over and added, "You've lost your school uniform. How about this? Tell me The Truth, and I'll get you a replacement."
