"I'm saying, will this really work?" Constantine asked as he drew runes on paper, glancing up at the Robins organizing documents across the enormous table.
"I think we can give it a try." Red Robin tapped a stack of papers against the table to align them. "After all, this was the conclusion reached by humanity's greatest minds across an entire Earth in another universe."
"But as far as magic is concerned..."
"They have magic over there too," Harley cut in at just the right moment. "And from what I observed, their magical energy is far more abundant than ours. Even plenty of children can casually make contracts with Demon Gods, and on very favorable terms too."
Constantine sighed softly. Though he had never personally visited the universe on the other side, Harley's scattered remarks had been enough for him to analyze how it operated. It was nothing more than a bunch of lunatics even crazier than the Cosmic Demons using a magical defense network to hold all humanity hostage, leaving the Cosmic Demons afraid to act rashly.
Constantine believed this might work on Earth in this universe too, but the only problem was that the magical community here was pathetic. They could not even gather enough people to establish an official organization. If he had to name one, friends close to him such as Zatanna and Night Master could count as an organization of sorts, but their positions differed slightly as well. It would probably be difficult to unite them.
Constantine had to admit that this left him subtly frustrated. Back when there had been no correct solution, everyone could muddle through however they liked. But now there was a very specific reference plan. They only had to copy the homework exactly; even if they could not achieve identical results,
