Spider-Man and Helen had landed in a terrible spot. They had fallen from high above onto the rooftop of a commercial building in Manhattan. Geographically speaking, Manhattan could not be considered the center of New York, but there was no doubt that it had once been one of the city's most prosperous areas.

When the disaster broke out, most of the office workers here had no ability to resist at all. The terrifying horde of corpses flooded every street.

As Spider-Man swung down from halfway up the building, the densely packed zombies below stared up at him with hollow eyes, sending a chill down his spine. Holding Helen, he swung to the rooftop of the building opposite and gently set her down.

"Sorry to trouble you," Helen said, scratching her head. "My physical strength is a little messed up, and I can't contact the World Tree from our universe. The divine power I can use for protection gets depleted with every use, so it's better to conserve it."

"It's fine." Spider-Man waved a hand. "Kids shouldn't be fighting in the first place. No matter how strong you are, this whole universe is adults-only for you right now. If I end up fighting the zombies later, make sure you close your eyes."

"Are you crazy?" Helen looked at him in disbelief. "Haven't you noticed how strong those monsters down there are? Look at them. They have Superhuman Strength, can jump several meters high, and many of them haven't completely lost their minds. It's basically Spider-Men everywhere!"

"Then you're underestimating Spider-Man." Spider-Man spoke firmly. "I admit the zombies are strong. Otherwise, they wouldn't have crushed the human military overnight. But Spider-Man has never been powerful because of brute force. I'll protect both of us, then find a way to get out of
