"Why are you screaming? Didn't you already know ghosts existed?" Helen asked, looking at the rather terrified Eddie.

"But he... he's Schiller!" Eddie pointed at the translucent figure in midair. "How did he become a ghost?!!"

"First, let me correct you. I don't count as a ghost. I can only be considered a spirit, because in this state, I can't possess anyone and have no offensive capability. I can basically only scare people."

Schiller slowly floated down. Only then did Eddie see clearly that he was more transparent than the ghosts Eddie had seen before. His entire body was a hazy shadow. If his voice had not still been Doctor Schiller's, Eddie might not even have known who he was.

"But that has an advantage too: better concealment. Unless you deliberately synchronize your brainwaves with my frequency, you won't be able to see me at all." Schiller shrugged. "Fun? We've got Big Trouble now!" Helen said helplessly, folding her arms. "The ghosts possessed the zombies, which stopped them from triggering a massive zombie outbreak as soon as they landed. The superheroes in this universe don't have memories of the resets. They think the zombies are just ordinary monsters and aren't wary at all."

"And Spider-Man wants to save everyone. He refuses to let us kill the infected zombie superheroes on the spot. Spider-Man also has Spider-Sense, so we don't even have a chance to ambush them."
