"Hydra kidnapped you."

Stark stared wide-eyed at Schiller, who had said this, trying to find even a trace of guilt on the Doctor's face. But Schiller's expression was perfectly calm.

"So you orchestrated all of this?"

"Not entirely."

Stark slammed a hand against the table beside him. "Stop saying 'not entirely.' Was it or wasn't it?"

"More or less." Schiller nodded. "Don't rush. I'm not trying to shirk responsibility. I'm simply stating the facts."

"Start from the beginning." Stark closed his eyes and held up one finger. "No more vague wording. I want specific, accurate facts."

"The fact is, you never seriously listened to me. You never used your intelligence to examine the experiences I told you about. You simply decided on your own that I was a victim and a good person."

Stark frowned deeply. He held up a hand to stop Schiller from continuing, then went over the experiences Schiller had told him about in his mind.

Chronologically speaking, Schiller should have been kidnapped as a child and subjected to human experimentation in a laboratory. After escaping midway through, he returned to the United States to attend school. During that time, he killed quite a few Black Hands behind the project. In the end, he was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and sent to work in a secret military laboratory.
