The instant Batman saw through the truth of the game, he jumped onto the cage, had the little boy stick his head through the bars, then grabbed him under the arms and pulled him out. He jumped back down and set the boy on the ground.

Natasha jumped down as well, covered in grime. She dusted off her hands and looked at Batman. "All right, Great Detective, reveal the answer."

Bruce, seated in the audience, stared at the scene on the screen and asked, "What do you think this game's original gameplay was supposed to be? What do you think, Arthur?"

Bruce turned to Joker Arthur. Arthur's eyes remained deeply sunken in their sockets, his gaze so murky that not a trace of emotion could be seen. Still, he shifted in his chair and propped up his prominent cheekbone with one finger. "You should be asking me how boring this game would have been if it had actually followed that idiot's plan."

As though choked by smoke, he coughed twice, covered his mouth with the back of his hand, and continued, "I think your professor has quite a talent for performance art, as well as a sense of humor. He made this otherwise tedious game somewhat worth watching."

"So what's going on?" Spider-Man asked, somewhat bewildered. "That Suit Man was a murderer? Who did he kill?"

"He wasn't merely a murderer." Bruce blinked lightly. "He was a serial killer."

"Lots of places in Europe have prostitute killers." Constantine blew out a ring of smoke. "They specifically target women selling their bodies in the Slums or moving through the Red Light District, using money and the appearance of an elite gentleman to lure prostitutes into the wilderness and kill them."
