The moment Schiller and Bale-Batman stepped out of the consulting room, Bale-Batman felt a gust of icy wind whoosh down from the end of the corridor, ruffling the loose strands over his forehead.

Bale-Batman squeezed his eyes shut, then rubbed them with his hand. He took half a step forward and leaned out to look toward the end of the corridor.

He thought his eyes had deceived him. Why had he vaguely seen black hair lifted by the wind at the end of the corridor? Was there a woman standing there?

Just as Bale-Batman was about to go out for a closer look, a hand grabbed him. He turned around and found Schiller.

Bale-Batman's gaze fell on the hand gripping him, clearly asking why Schiller had stopped him. Schiller gently shook his head and said,

"Let me emphasize this again: there may be paranormal phenomena in this hospital. Prepare yourself mentally..."

"I don't buy that." Bale-Batman pulled his arm free and said, "Even if ghosts really exist in this world, I won't be afraid. All of this can be explained scientifically."

As he spoke, he walked to the middle of the corridor and faced the window where the ghostly figure had appeared. Sure enough, there was a dark-haired woman in red, her hair billowing in the wind.

Bale-Batman saw that the female ghost had a pale face and blood-red eyes. He gave a cold snort and strode firmly toward her.

"I'd like to see what—"

The next second, Bale-Batman froze.

Because behind the female ghost, he saw another familiar figure.

"Ah!"

"Bang!"

The consulting room door slammed shut. Bale-Batman pressed his back against it, both hands braced behind him, staring at Schiller not far away with the expression of someone who had seen a ghost.
