The sharp squeal of brakes rang out. Poison Ivy had to use all her strength just to brace herself with the hand gripping the steering wheel. She turned to Peter with a look of horror and asked again.

"I can't imagine how absurd your explanation is going to be." Poison Ivy let out a long sigh, but she still stepped on the accelerator. "That's exactly the problem, ma'am." Peter's expression remained serious. "Maybe you think Joker dying was a good thing. I do too. He was a criminal guilty of every imaginable evil; no punishment would have been too harsh for him."
"But death wasn't the best punishment. He even received a gift through death—he merged with Batman."
