Peter told Poison Ivy and Gordon his guess. After hesitating for a moment, Gordon said, "I don't know much about magic and that sort of thing, but I do know Batman has a few partners who can use magic, like Ms. Prince, who came to Gotham before."

"It's definitely too late to go to Metropolis now." Poison Ivy shook her head. "Setting aside the fact that Gotham Airport is shut down, Metropolis has never welcomed Gothamites. We can only pray for the best."

After letting out a sigh, she thought for a moment and said, "What I use isn't exactly orthodox magic. It's more like power bestowed by God. There are some magic-using supervillains in Arkham Asylum, but they've always come and gone without a trace. They won't be easy to find."

"What about other magic-using superheroes?"

Peter stroked his chin. "I should've copied Batman's contact list. Looks like we'll have to go back to Gotham."

"Batman is looking for you!" Poison Ivy stressed. "You said it yourself—this was Batman's original plan, and your actions have completely thrown everything into chaos. Do you know what will happen if Batman catches you?!"

"No, you're wrong. If he finds out what I'm doing, he'll see that there's no conflict between us at all. I haven't hurt anyone, and right now, we need each other's help."

"You're not planning to go back and find him, are you?!"

"That's exactly what I'm planning."

Before Batman could leave Gotham in pursuit of Peter, a new round of chaos erupted across Gotham City. No other reason—the Scarecrow and the Penguin had started fighting.

While Batman was tracking Peter in the Batmobile, he received a message from Nightwing. The Scarecrow had led his remaining men into a fight against the Penguin's last surviving gangsters aboard Stagg Industries'
