Captain America's death was strange, come to think of it. If Schiller remembered correctly, Captain America was not supposed to have anything to do with Ultimate Iron Man's story.
The story should have gone something like this: Ultimate Iron Man created the Extremis Virus and the Extremis app. Daredevil, Matt, was the first to realize something was wrong. Unfortunately, Matt couldn't beat White Armor and failed to stop his scheme.
Then came Pepper. As the person who knew Tony Stark best, she naturally realized something was off about this Iron Man. After an argument, Pepper decided to activate the backup consciousness of Justice Iron Man.
So the later story had basically revolved around Justice Iron Man and evil Iron Man. If Captain America had any part in it at all, it should have been after White Armor was locked up, not when the Extremis Virus had just broken out.
That raised a problem. To stop the universe-collision event created by the Beyonder, Schiller had gone to the future timeline and brought the White Armor who appeared after the Axis of Good and Evil event back to the past timeline, replacing the normal Iron Man who had not yet turned evil.
The normal Iron Man had been sent to the future instead. In other words, the two had exchanged identities, and if time continued moving forward, they would inevitably meet someday.
Schiller had explained this to White Armor as well. So for White Armor, his primary enemy should have been his own righteous self, not Captain America. If there was another him, the wealth and status he possessed could be taken from him at any moment.
In that case, White Armor actually had no motive to kill Captain America. Captain America had neither interfered with his scheme nor posed any immediate
