Loki and Strange chatted as they began an enormous task—searching through a Chinese dictionary, trying their best to understand the Chinese documents Strange had brought back from the village chief.

"I received an invitation saying that Schiller was holding a banquet to celebrate his godson's successful graduation," Strange said. "He also invited us to visit his estate—the one he has in another universe."

"He lives in an estate in another universe?" Loki looked up at Strange and asked in disbelief, "The kind of building where it takes at least ten minutes to get from one door to another?"

"That's conservative. Have you seen Tony Stark's estate in Beverly Hills? There's a golf course between the living room and the bedroom. You'd walk your legs off if you didn't take a car."

"Hard to imagine. I think Schiller would start complaining after living there for two days." Loki turned a page in his hand and said, "He's complained to me more than once that he built Arkham Asylum too large, so after making his rounds every day, he has to walk more than ten minutes just to get back to his office."

"But he enjoys it, because so many people marvel at how large his hospital is. New York's upper class sees him as wealthy and generous. Do you think he wouldn't enjoy hearing that?"

"Far better than you," Loki said sarcastically. "Whenever people mention you, they say what a fine doctor you are, that your medical skills are exceptional and your hands miraculous. They never mention your character at all."

"I know they curse me behind my back." Strange rolled his eyes. "My surgery schedule is too full, and I operate on whoever pays more. I'm a petty man driven by profit. Even Tony Stark's favors don't work—who do they
