Stark impatiently turned the radio back on, rubbed his temples, and said, "My God, what are they even singing? Is this some new-age way of chanting scriptures?"
"Hey, Mr. Stark, turn it up! This is the once wildly popular Doggystyle! He's my favorite West Coast rapper! 'Dogg Food' should be coming up soon..."
Stark could barely stand Peter's nonstop babbling. He switched the radio back on and said, "It's really hard for me to imagine someone who doesn't swear in real life liking rap."
"Come on, Captain America hasn't said anything." Natasha leaned against the windowsill of the Presidential Suite and said, "The more restrained someone is, the more they need an outlet. Besides, this barely even counts as profanity. English swearing has no punch at all. If Pepper were Russian, you'd already be clutching your frightened little heart and running home to cry."
"Even though I can't understand what they're singing," Steve said, "the melody's not bad. It sounds like funk."
Peter immediately snapped his fingers and sat beside Steve, speaking as though he had found a kindred spirit. "Exactly. That's why I like West Coast music. Their beats sound better, but they always call me a New York traitor."
"You are!" A yellow figure darted over. Pikachu leaped into Peter's arms with a bang and shouted, "JAY-Z is the greatest rapper in the world! King of New York! Woohoo!!!"
"If you're going to put it that way, then I have to talk to you about Eminem. They were from the same era... Hey, wait, had Eminem released an album by this time?"
Peter pulled out his phone and began searching. Pikachu jumped onto his shoulder and mocked, "Who was it that said he was a veteran West Coast fan? You don't even know that?"
