"What's wrong? Is it hard to deal with?" Batwoman stepped forward.

She glanced at the data and froze as well, then wore an expression that was almost comically helpless.

"It's afraid of water?" Batwoman pointed at one of the chemical formulas. "Water can break down the key component in the toxin into harmless rare gases."

"And we happen to have a suitable weapon." Batman looked at the gun Batwoman was carrying.

It was a weapon styled exactly like the modified machinery in Batwoman's Batcave, clearly something Batman had intended to use against Atlantis.

Its ability was to synthesize water from the air. It could summon vast amounts of water in a short time and release it under compression, turning it into all kinds of water-based weapons such as water cannons and water arrows.

In an ocean that already contained water, it could use kinetic energy to shape the water into all kinds of forms—powerful fists, massive waves, or even an army—to fight Atlantis's forces. The two of them had named the gun Water God's Spear.

Batwoman slung the gun over her shoulder and lightly tapped a button on its side. A circular water shield immediately enveloped her and Batman as they headed deeper into the spore cloud.

"I think we should be cautious. Whatever is deep in the fog may not necessarily be an enemy. We'd better not hurt innocent people," Batman said.

"Though you always seem indecisive, I think you're right this time. This universe is too bizarre. We can't judge friend from foe by common sense."

Batman had been cautious, but all that ended when he saw the figure deep within the toxic fog.

"Joker?!!"

The two of them shouted in unison.

Batwoman reflexively pulled the trigger. With a bang, a water round flew toward Toxic Plant.
