Nick did not seem surprised by the newly arrived Spider-Man. Even though he was Bruce Wayne, Nick merely led him to the locker room without any reaction.

And so Spider-Batman—or Bat-Spider-Man, or perhaps simply a special Spider-Man—got himself a brand-new suit.

The outfit itself was a skintight suit more like Spider-Man's, and it did not look out of place on him. The mask, however, was more like Batman's. It fully covered his face without exposing his chin, but it had two pointed ears.

The suit actually resembled Daredevil's more, except its colors were not as bright. It used Batman's signature black. Fortunately, the chest emblem was not a spider, and the bodysuit's patterns were not webs, or it would have looked far too much like Venom.

The black on the suit was somewhat unusual, reflecting iridescent metallic colors. There was a bat emblem on the chest, but a spider shape had been hollowed out in the center of the bat. The spider legs cut through the bat's wings, creating a strange kind of beauty.

Bruce had an excellent physique, more muscular than most Spider-Men. Put simply, he was broader. The skintight suit made him look even more imposing.

"I'll add a cape for him," Bruce said.

"You know it is useless in combat."

"But it is the symbol of a knight."

"If you like it, fine." Nick shrugged. "Come over here. We'll test the new suit's functions."

Bruce followed him over. During the testing, he discovered that the suit was not merely decorative. It was fireproof, waterproof, shockproof—basically resistant to everything it could be resistant to. Its arms contained miniature communicators and web-shooters, its back housed a concealed nano-glider, and its legs hid environmental scanners, chips, and miniature drones.
