After Batman put on the Helmet, Spider-Man found Wonder Woman and, by asking the Black Sun deep within the Dense Fog, figured out the issue with the Helmet's energy flow.

In short, it was not a creation of the Olympus pantheon. Its energy system was entirely different from theirs, and traces of its energy flow showed that the energy circuits had existed even before the metal was forged.

In other words, the energy circuits that functioned as an energy amplifier were inherent to the metal itself, not carved into it by Ares.

That immediately put Wonder Woman on alert, because if the Helmet was not Ares's creation, then it had to be thousands of times more dangerous than they had imagined.

But it was too late to discuss that now. First, they had to figure out how to remove the Helmet from Batman's head.

Wonder Woman believed they still had a chance to persuade Batman, but Spider-Man was not so optimistic. Judging from Batman's earlier behavior, he now seemed to think everyone wanted to steal his Helmet. That was clearly a sign that his mind had been bewitched.

In the end, they devised a strategy. Wonder Woman would draw Batman's attention, by reason or by threatening him, no matter what it took. She would keep his focus firmly on herself, while Spider-Man knocked Batman unconscious.

They quickly found Batman wearing the Helmet. Wonder Woman successfully appeared before him and drew his attention, though unfortunately, in the worst possible way. Batman truly believed Wonder Woman wanted to steal his Helmet.

Though Wonder Woman was overcome with sorrow, she still carried out her duty well. Before Batman could reach her, she kept his attention fixed on herself.

Using the Dense Fog's teleportation ability, Peter successfully appeared behind Batman and knocked him unconscious.
