The Batmen received an unimaginably enthusiastic welcome.
Batman had always been a good judge of character. Nightwing really was a polite, well-behaved kid, because Damian had already scrambled onto Bat-Tyrant's back.
"Whoa, this is so cool!" Damian bent over and looked around. Bat-Tyrant threw back its head and roared, but its two tiny arms could not possibly reach the middle of its own back, so it could only shake its head and whip its tail, trying to throw that thing off its back.
Red Hood was clearly more interested in the Bat-Monster Car. The vehicle was actually enormous, taller than Red Hood, and its massive tire nearly reached the top of his head. Red Hood looked as though he were standing before a miniature black hole.
"Hehe, don't touch my tires. No, stay away from that screw, kid." The Bat-Monster Car wiggled its tires, trying to get farther away from Red Hood, but Red Robin had already climbed into the car through the door.
"Oh my God, Jason, come look." Red Robin called down, "There really is a steering wheel in here, and brakes too."
The Bat-Monster Car let out a heavy sigh. "I'm a car. How could I not have a steering wheel and brakes? Or does Batman in your universe control his Batmobile with his mind?"
"I bet he's always wanted to." Red Robin started poking around the cockpit, squirming this way and that as if he had needles in his pants. In the end, he had to admit, "God! Damian, you were right. This is so cool—a talking Batmobile!"
"I'll say it again: I am not a talking Batmobile. I am Batman in car form!" the Bat-Monster Car raised its voice to emphasize.
Before bringing these Batmen back, Main Universe Batman had clearly not introduced them to
