Theoretically, there was no solution. No matter what you did, Laughing Man could always pop out at the end and say, "I foresaw everything long ago." Ignore the mountain of nonsensical explanations, and it was really just forced divine intervention.

But that was far too difficult. If they really were higher-dimensional beings, then for characters within a story to deal with them would be no easier than for a computer file to jump out of the computer and beat up its owner.

But following this line of reasoning, there was another, somewhat easier solution.

Laughing Man might have been a bigger pile, but he was still a computer file. So far, he had not displayed any Fourth Wall-breaking traits like Harley or Deadpool. Therefore, it could be assumed that he could not see the world outside the computer either.

Then, if a new file were created in the world outside the computer and transferred into the computer, Laughing Man would not know what that file was. Since it had been created in the real world beyond the computer screen, if Laughing Man could not see beyond the screen, he could not know how it had
