Several groups quickly gathered at Barbara's clock tower base. Nightwing wore his uniform and carried a weapons case in one hand. Robin wasn't wearing his Robin costume, but he had brought a computer he'd previously gotten from Batman.
Jason and the others came from Wayne Manor. Not only did they bring their own equipment, they also drove the Batmobile and even brought desserts Alfred had just made.
Only Arkham Knight was still wearing that incredibly cool suit of armor, but what looked utterly out of place was the bat plushie half his height in his arms.
Just how big was the plushie? This two-hundred-pound giant robin that could completely block Batman from view had to be hugged with both arms, and he even had to lean backward to keep it from dragging on the ground.
Arkham Knight tossed the plushie onto the sofa behind Barbara, let out a long breath, planted his hands on his hips, and looked at it. "I knew Batman wasn't that kindhearted. It took me half an hour to get this thing down from the attic."
He had been the one speaking just now. Jason moved closer in surprise, but he couldn't find anything unusual about the bat plushie at all.
The giant plushie was simply shaped like a cartoon bat. Its middle was a horizontal oval with two pointed ears, two round eyes in the center, and two large bat wings on either side. The whole thing was made of long, shiny satin-like fur, carefully stitched and soft to the touch, perfect for hugging while sleeping.
The only problem was that it was big enough to kick someone off a double bed. So far, everyone in the room would be unable to see where they were going if they hugged it.
