"Can you tell me how you made a hundred dollars in one afternoon?" Schiller was quite concerned about that.
It was not even the millennium yet. Making a hundred dollars in one afternoon meant two hundred a day and six thousand a month. Ordinary people only made around three to four thousand dollars a month, and a household monthly income of ten thousand dollars qualified as middle class.
"We handled several moves." Raven said as she cleaned out the refrigerator. "We originally only had jobs from two households, but because we finished moving so quickly, we moved the next day's jobs up to today."
"And because we moved so fast and didn't damage anything, every client gave us a tip. It added up to nearly ten dollars."
"You used telekinesis to move things?"
"Of course. My telekinesis can more or less lift a whole building. Moving some furniture is easy."
Raven was taking the vegetables out of the kitchen and sorting them again. Schiller walked over and asked, "Have you had dinner?"
"Not yet. I only just got home. Can you cook? I bought frozen noodles from the supermarket. How do I cook them?"
Schiller took a pot from the lower cabinet, accepted the noodles from Raven, and tore open the package. "Sounds like your moving company has a promising future."
"Yes, but Killer Croc thinks we could make even more money. Unfortunately, our current vehicle is too small. We can only move ordinary households. We can't handle slightly larger villas or companies."
"You don't have enough money to buy a vehicle?"
"Killer Croc's money is only enough to rent a storefront. We need a storefront before we can start taking jobs
