There were still quite a few Mutants in this world who suffered persecution, especially those Epsilon-class Mutants with virtually no useful abilities. They could even be considered disabled.
Unfortunately, not every country was like China, issuing disability certificates to Epsilon-class Mutants with genuine impairments. Nor was every Epsilon-class Mutant willing to accept being called disabled. Most of them were gritting their teeth and holding on, while the vast majority who could no longer endure were left wandering.
These people were already at rock bottom. The moment they heard there was a place on another planet that served as a Mutant utopia and sanctuary, hope immediately flared up again.
Years of discrimination and persecution had made them hate everything on Earth. They believed ordinary people's prejudice was entirely responsible for their current plight, and that if they could only reach a place inhabited entirely by Mutants, they would surely be reborn.
With that hope in mind, they boarded the emigrant ships. Unfortunately, what awaited them was not a lush, Heaven-like utopia, but a land crying out for development.
The floating island Magneto had claimed first had begun to take shape after construction, but it was too small. It had originally only been a down payment, not a planet intended for production and development. Even after it was fixed up, it could only sit there looking pretty; no large-scale projects could be carried out on it.
The Mutants were now mainly building and producing on two nearby planets and a dwarf planet. The Andromeda galaxy's natural conditions were fairly good. Although the star ahead had exploded, Magneto had dragged another one over and moved the planets into positions roughly comparable to Earth's. After careful adjustment and cultivation, all three planets could basically support human life without life-support equipment.
