Once they started browsing the market, Schiller finally understood Pride's friends. Now, whenever he saw anything, he assumed Stark probably hadn't thought of it and wouldn't buy it, so he wanted to buy it all and bring it over.
In the end, Ultron accessed the dashcam footage from cars near the beach and checked the surrounding situation, finally dissuading Schiller from actually buying a tent.
According to Ultron, Stark had done a decent job with the hardware. He had prepared canopies, tables and chairs, grills, and the like quite thoroughly. He had even brought a screen and projector. Schiller didn't need to think twice to know what he planned to watch.
But Schiller hadn't seen him prepare anything else. He knew Stark was a very traditional American. Perhaps he followed the rule of camping parties where everyone brought their own ingredients. Plenty of backyard parties worked that way.
Since he needed to buy ingredients, Schiller had no choice but to head to the fresh food section. He planned to buy some fish. Aside from liking it himself, everyone else also loved the way he cooked fish.
It really couldn't be called much of a skill. Those foreigners had always disliked whole fish because they found it fishy, so they were all curious about how Schiller could make whole fish taste so good.
Schiller had witnessed how white people handled fish long ago. He had even seen someone toss a fish into the pot without removing the organs. It would have been strange if it didn't smell fishy.
The United States had an abundance of waterways, making it ideal for fishing, and many fish returned through estuaries to spawn. They all tasted deliciously fresh, but because so many people didn't know how to handle them, they either turned them into fillets
