"Glad to meet you, Sergeant Fury." A tall man stepped forward and shook Nick's hand. His handsome face looked as though it had been carved with knives and axes in the dim light, and his deep blue eyes seemed to hold all the justice in the world.
"Long time no see, Captain America. Did your speech in Tennessee go well? Did you bring our people the good news that dawn was about to come?"
"The speech went fairly well, but I didn't bring them any good news." Captain America shook his head. "You know, the unified message now is that we still need help."
"Yes, I understand." Nick said, "If we can't send troops, then providing some funding is good too. Even if only one percent goes toward the real war, your efforts won't have been in vain."
Captain America looked somewhat embarrassed. There was always an unshakable melancholy between his brows, but he still said, "I heard you needed my help, so I turned down all my work and came right away."
"Thank you very much." Nick turned and walked into the room. "About two days ago, we intercepted an unusual signal inside a base suspected of storing Hydra's atomic bombs. The signal was highly regular and may have been simulating a missile launch."
Captain America immediately grew tense, and Nick promptly delivered another piece of bad news. "Last night, we intercepted another unusual signal. It was unlike the previous ones, came later, and broke the established pattern. We believe it may indicate that they're planning something."
Captain America's face turned pale. He quickly walked over to the sofa and said, "Then what are we waiting for? We need to attack that base immediately and stop their launch plan. We absolutely can't let a nuclear bomb fall on innocent
