The airlock door of the space station's docking bay slowly opened, and a small spacecraft flew inside. Unlike the main bay next door, there were no anxious employees waiting to board a ship and leave. More accurately, there was nothing here at all, because this had originally been a cargo bay. Nick had opened remote access so the ship carrying Schiller could come here.
Ben Parker had to show himself in public, but Schiller did not necessarily have to. One of them in the open and one in the shadows was the best arrangement. No one knew what had caused the station accident, and if the Black Hand behind it had not left yet, things could get interesting.
The moment Ben Parker got off the ship, he rushed toward the main conference room at top speed. He slammed the door open, and countless eyes turned toward him. Even more people rose to their feet.
"Good God, Ben?! Didn't you go back for treatment? What are you doing here?!" One of Parker's longtime employees rushed over, and Ben Parker quickly gave him a hug.
"I'm back, friends. I heard there was a problem with the power system and that you were trapped, so I found an old friend at S.H.I.E.L.D. and caught a ride on the aircraft sent to evacuate you."
"You're insane." Another female scientist shouted, "We're trapped here now. Are you planning to get trapped with us too?! You never should have come back!"
"I know, of course I know, the oxygen is limited..."
"That's not what I mean. It's dangerous here!"
Seeing that she seemed to be implying something, Ben Parker stepped forward and looked at her. "Earth hasn't abandoned you. They've been actively searching for solutions, and they're already mobilizing ships from the Solar System spaceports to
