Nick did not even need to call. Eddie's call came through quickly, and before long, the video connection was established. Besides Eddie, there were many ordinary people on the other end, and Nick frowned slightly.
"Ah, Nick, don't mind them. These are my colleagues, all professionals. We're editing the third season of Stark's Romantic Wedding Journey, and we happened to see that damned video. I called to tell you that this thing is very likely video effects. Don't fall for it..."
A skinny man wearing black-rimmed glasses stepped up to the camera and waved. He looked a little nervous. Pushing up his glasses, he said, "Hi, I'm Pete. I'm an animator."
"Hello, Pete. That was exactly what I wanted to ask. Is this video real? Or did someone use some special video-processing technique to make it?"
"This video hasn't been edited." Another Asian woman leaned in, smoothing back her black hair. "I'm an editor, sorry..."
Eddie hurriedly made room for her. The woman smiled, nodded, and said, "You can call me Chen. I'm an editor on the directing team. When Eddie sent me the footage, I examined it. There were no signs of editing."
"Then when you said it was special effects..."
"Sorry, it isn't movie special effects either." Another white man stood behind the others, fiddling with a computer as he called out, "I'm certain it isn't green-screen effects. Green-screen effects can't look this real. Trust me!"
"Then you're saying there's something wrong with the footage?"
"Right. It isn't editing, it isn't green-screen effects, and it definitely isn't animation." Eddie's words confused Nick somewhat, but the reporter was not one to keep people in suspense. He quickly explained, "There's nothing wrong with the video itself, but the scene might be another matter."
As he spoke, the layers of people
