"Sorry." A man's face moved close to the camera, still wearing an unmistakably panicked expression. He kept looking behind him, his fear obvious, before turning back to the camera and speaking.
"I'm Justin Balk, head of the software security engineering department at Star Core Space Station. For the sake of saving ourselves, I have no choice but to release this footage. There are monsters inside the station!"
The image flickered a few times, then the perspective switched to a camera above a corridor.
Jara was running for his life down the corridor, with a dense mass of fog chasing after him. His face was full of terror, and he fled blindly until the thick fog quickly caught up to him, enveloping half his body.
For some reason, the fog seemed poisonous after it spread out. The moment it touched the Black man's arm, he let out a scream and collapsed to the ground, convulsing as though electrocuted.
At the end of the corridor, in an unnoticed corner, a small round device was thrown over. With a faint hissing sound, some kind of chemical agent was released and quickly spread through the corridor.
The Black man's pupils dilated slightly. When he got back to his feet, his expression had become unnatural, as if some monster had taken control of him. He staggered toward the end of the corridor.
In the end, he was completely surrounded by the dense fog, his figure vanishing entirely at the end of the corridor, as though he had truly become a walking corpse controlled by a monster.
The footage switched back. Balk's pupils were dilated, and he kept swallowing, clearly terrified. He lowered his voice and said, "I don't know why my superiors are blocking the news, but there are monsters everywhere in the station
